Announcing New Lower Pricing for Amazon EC2 Reserved Instances We are excited to announce a reduction in reserved instance pricing for Amazon EC2 running Linux/UNIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. Linux/UNIX Reserved Instance prices will decrease by up to 27 % for Amazon EC2 for the Standard (M1), Second-Generation Standard (M3), High-Memory (M2), and High-CPU (C1) Instance families.
